Three new trailhead kiosk signs were unveiled at Wul’aam Park, including one funded and constructed by the Rotary Club of Chemainus. Trail names and signage are in Hul’q’umi’num, the language of First Nations Peoples in the area, including the Penelakut who would pass through the area around Wul’aam Park on their vision quests and to gather medicines.

Photos of our joint project with the Municipality of North Cowichan to build a new picnic shelter at Kin Beach Park. Official opening ceremony held on August 25, 2021.

Another local project completed in 2021 was repairs to the well-used boat launch in Kin Beach Park.

Our 2021 Charity Rotary Golf Tournament - a joint event with the Ladysmith and Chemainus clubs - held at Mount Brenton Golf Course on September 25, 2021.

An annual BBQ event that the Chemainus Rotary Club hosts for the five area clubs - held at the Country Maples campground just outside town.
